The year 2018 and Q4 ended with a whimper. In fact as I write this, the market in 2019 started well, though losing a chunk this week.Given the very strong 2017 results, we can say that this was not unexpected. But then again, we cannot predict the future. What we can do is use statistics and data to establish "expectations". The expected market behavior is the long term average.
